Guest speaker: Romea Smith, Senior Vice President – CA Support, CA

 

Romea Smith was appointed Senior Vice President – CA Support in April 2008. Since joining CA, in May, 2000, Romea has lead programs to improve employee satisfaction and to ensure that the customer experience with CA products and services is always positive.

 

Romea’s accomplishments at CA include, managing approximately 1,000 Support Engineers and Managers across 12 regional and 50 local offices, attracting top talent, integrating acquired companies and their employees into CA, and driving standard support levels across CA Support globally. Additionally, Romea implemented various internal initiatives to improve resource management,  employee education, recognition, job satisfaction, and career opportunities.

 

Prior to joining CA, Romea held multiple leadership positions with Sterling Software and Systems Center. While at Sterling and Systems Center, Romea defined and implemented strategies for improving customer satisfaction and ensuring loyalty of the North American customer base.

 

Romea holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Prairie View A&M University.
