Kim began her career at Wal-Mart in 1989 as an hourly associate. She graduated from University of South Carolina, Coastal with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and moved to management within Wal-Mart Internal Audit department in 1995. She held a number of roles within Internal Audit in the US and worked abroad in South America, Asia, Mexico, and Europe before moving to Risk and Benefits Finance in 2006 and later being  promoted to Vice President  of Home Office Financial Planning and Analysis. She recently changed roles and is responsible for Merchandising and Marketing Financial Planning and Analysis for Walmart US business. She is also actively involved in Walmart’s Women’s Resource group.

Kim was recently married in 2009 and has two Chinese pugs.

She enjoys golfing, boating, and spending time with friends and family.
