JoAnna Sohovich is President of Honeywell Security and Communications, Americas region, and is responsible for growth and innovation at Honeywell’s intrusion business leader, combining safety, security and lifestyle technologies in homes and buildings.
Her most recent role was as Vice President and General Manager, Commercial Control Systems, a business within Honeywell International. In this role, she was responsible for driving growth across a controls portfolio representing more than seven different brands and channels, including Alerton, Honeywell, Novar, Phoenix Controls, Trend, Tridium, and Vykon.
JoAnna has held positions of increasing responsibility in general management, marketing, operations and continuous improvement at Honeywell Automation & Controls Systems, Honeywell Aerospace, Honeywell Specialty Materials and Cisco Systems. Prior to assuming her current role, she served as ECC acquisition integration leader and was responsible for the successful integration of Honeywell’s Maxon Corporation acquisition—including delivering global business results, cost and sales synergies, and overall functional improvements.
Prior to joining Honeywell, JoAnna served as an officer in the United States Navy. JoAnna is Master Black Belt and Design for Six Sigma certified and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration degree from Santa Clara University.
